STEM day Wednesdays are a big hit in Preschool.  Ms. Patil's, Mrs. Bowles (Kindercasa) and Mrs. Z's classes are taking turns coming up with STEM activities.

This week the children were working with catapults made out of popsicle sticks.  Each child was given their own catapult to use and they had to find something to "launch'.  Once they found their item they had to try it out to see if it flies or not.  Many of the children realized that they need to find a light, small object to make the catapult work the best.  Then they enjoyed launching their object in front of their classmates. We can't wait to see what next week's STEM activity is.
