--Norwalk Catholic School -Friday Flyer--

May 25, 2018

Dear NCS Parents,

I want to thank you for a wonderful school year and for entrusting Norwalk Catholic School with your child and their education. It is our goal to touch every child’s life in a spiritually positive and productive way. An excerpt from the book “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young, which resonated with me states: “We are on a wonderful journey together. Though our ultimate goal is heaven, there are lots of adventures all along the way.”  I would like to thank you for being a part of the adventure and for allowing your child to be a part of it as well. God calls us to do many things in life. He takes us through the ups and downs of life so that we know the trials and tribulations of living in this world. I believe that this is done so that we can learn to endure hardships. God shows us the beauty and the darkness that the world can offer. It is up to us to decide if the glass is half-full or half empty. I have treasured the opportunity I have had this year to be principal at Norwalk Catholic School. It is a great responsibility, yet it is also an honor and a privilege. I am looking forward to next school year and for the many exciting adventures to come. Have a safe, relaxing, and FUN summer!

God Bless, Mrs. Englert

Liturgy of the Word with Children (LWC) * All Summer Long! LWC, designed for children ages 4 to about 12, is celebrated at St. Paul Church in Norwalk two Sundays a month during the regular Sunday Liturgy of the Word at Mass.   It is adapted to make it easier for children to understand.   The celebrations are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 9:00am and on the 4th Sunday of the month at 11:00am.   LWC takes place in the Parish Gathering Space and is led by trained adults and teens of the parish.  Parents, grandparents and older siblings may accompany young children if they wish.   Because Mass is celebrated all summer long, so is LWC!   The LWC schedule is published regularly in the parish Sunday bulletin and on the parish website.   For more information, contact LWC coordinator, Marian Bermudez, at mbermudez@neo.rr.com or 419-663-5036.  (Leave a message.)
